LEGACY

Located in southeast Calgary, Legacy is a 1,100-acre community of rolling hills with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains and the Bow River Valley. Downtown Calgary is only a 20–30-minute drive away. With 300 acres set apart as a natural reserve, Legacy is the perfect destination for family trips full of sightseeing and summer or wintertime activities.

Legacy is home to All Saints High School, which has a student population capacity of 1,500. Approval has been granted for future schools including Kindergarten-Grade 9 (The Calgary Roman Catholic Separate School Division), an elementary school Kindergarten- Grade 6, and a Junior High school Grade 7-Grade 9 (The Calgary Public School System). All schools will boast playing fields, soccer pitches, and baseball diamonds. 

For medical care, the South Health Campus can be found just north of Legacy and provides a full range of services, from neurology to nutrition, pediatric care, and mental health. This state-of-the-art hospital opened in 2013 and serves all of Southern Alberta.

Residents of Legacy are just a few minutes away from a variety of amenities and services. The shopping district is comprised of four retail sites, totaling 1.7 million square feet of shops, restaurants, and more. Major retailers in the area include Sobeys, Wine & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, and Winners.

Brookfield’s Residential Seton YMCA is in proximity offering a range of activities such as hockey, skating, swimming, running track, weight room, and other sports. Seton Calgary Public Library shares a space with the Seton YMCA. You can also find fitness centers right in Legacy including Big Sky Fitness and F45.
